Bill Leseman joined RAM Partners in 1995 and refined the company’s mission into what it is today. He continues to provide invaluable leadership, inspiring the organization and guaranteeing delivery of our promise. He brings more than 30 years of experience guiding RAM Partners management teams and is actively involved in several aspects of the company including management plans, budgets, marketing, and asset management functions.
With over two decades of property management experience, Brenda Lindner oversees all aspects of our property management and provides direct leadership to our Area Vice Presidents as well as our Training and Marketing departments. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business at Illinois State University and holds a Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management. Brenda has been with RAM Partners since 1995.
A multifamily industry veteran since 1974, Martha Logan has been with RAM Partners since 2002. Prior to joining RAM Partners, she served as Executive Vice President of Post Properties for ten years. Martha is known in the apartment industry as an innovator and implementer of new ideas. She holds a Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management and focuses on improving property operations and increasing cash flow for our properties.
Corey Williams joined RAM Partners in 2005 and manages a portfolio of RAM properties in Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee. In previous roles, he served RAM as a Property Manager, Special Projects Coordinator, Area Vice President, and Group Vice President. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University.
With more than 13 years of real estate accounting and financial reporting experience, Grant Rice oversees accounting, property management software, and other accounting and financial support functions for RAM Partners. He joined us in 2017 and is responsible for the timely and accurate financial reporting to our clients. He earned a Masters in Accounting from the University of Alabama and is a licensed CPA in Georgia.
Susan Brown joined RAM Partners in 2005 and manages a portfolio of RAM properties in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, and Wyoming. With oversight of fiscal accountability, marketing, personnel, and physical asset management, she has managed a diverse mix of communities from lease-up and rehab to Tax Credit and Section 8 properties. She graduated from the State University of New York and her many accolades include RAM’s Area Vice President of the Year award.
Carol Cicero brings more than 25 years of residential and property management experience and has been with RAM Partners since 2000. She supervises a group of Area Vice Presidents and Property Managers, with oversight of fiscal accountability, marketing, personnel, and physical asset management. She has received the Area Vice President of the Year award and currently serves on the board of directors for the Atlanta Apartment Association.
Kelly Marchbanks joined RAM Partners in 2002 and oversees a diverse portfolio of properties in Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina. With more than 25 years of apartment industry experience, she supervises interior and exterior renovations, and develops and implements property specific marketing strategies. She attended the University of Georgia and Georgia State University.
Since joining RAM Partners in 1998, Senior Area Vice President Susan Haydel has built a portfolio of diverse properties in Georgia. She has managed new construction lease-ups and stabilized properties alike, overseeing construction and amenities design projects and managing renovations. Ms. Haydel has an accomplished track record for achieving the goals and objectives for a number of clients by maximizing the value of their properties. Prior to joining RAM Partners, Ms. Haydel served as a multi-site manager for a national management company, managing properties in Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky and Tennessee. She started her career in 1987 as a leasing agent. She is a member of the Atlanta Apartment Association, where she earned Top Honors for New Membership Recruitment. Her work for RAM Partners also has received accolades, including several Property of the Year and Property Manager of the Year awards. Ms. Haydel earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee.
As Senior Area Vice President for RAM Partners, Chris Mullen manages a portfolio of multifamily properties in Georgia and additional Southeastern states. Her experience includes hands-on, goal-oriented team leadership, and she specializes in new construction, Class A lease-up projects, stabilized properties and tax credit/bond financed communities. Ms. Mullen joined RAM Partners in 1995 as a Property Manager. She spent several years in RAM’s training department before assuming her current position of Area Vice President. She has been active in the multi-family real estate industry since 1985, having served in a variety of roles for a nationally recognized property management firm. Ms. Mullen is an active member of the Atlanta Apartment Association, serving on a number of committees for the organization. She also is active in RAM Partner’s community outreach efforts, serving as coordinator for the RAM Atlanta food drive.
As Senior Area Vice President for RAM Partners, Rebecca Welch manages a portfolio containing more than 2,400 units, located in Atlanta and Nashville. Ms. Welch joined RAM Partners in 2001 as a Property Manager, but moved up quickly after a very successful lease-up. Prior to joining RAM Partners, Ms. Welch spent eight years with Post Properties, Inc. a national property management firm. She started in the company’s leasing department, and eventually took on the role of multi-site manager. This included assisting with preparation of properties to be put on the market in Nashville. Prior to joining Post, she spent five years traveling extensively for a sales and marketing company, trouble-shooting challenging markets on a variety of assets ranging in class from “A” to “C”. Ms. Welch is an active member of both the Atlanta Apartment Association and the Greater Nashville Apartment Association. Her work with RAM Partners earned her the title of Area Vice President of the Year in 2003. Welch is a graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta, and she has earned her associate’s degree in Management and Marketing from Kennesaw State University.
Marlene Adeli has primary oversight of assets in the Orlando and South Florida markets. Her portfolio consists of approximately 1,100 units including stabilized and new construction assets. Ms. Adeli works diligently to ensure the success of her portfolio by building strong teams and branding the RAM culture in her markets. She joined RAM Partners in 2013 with 10 years of expertise in stabilized, value-add and major renovation projects. She began her property management career as a leasing consultant, working her way through the ranks. Ms. Adeli has earned recognition throughout her tenure including Leasing Consultant of the Year, Assistant Manager of the Year, Property Manager of the Year and Property of the Year. Though originally from New York, she has made her home in Central Florida. She is passionate about personal and professional growth and shares that energy with others.
As Area Vice President for RAM Partners, David Brock oversees several Luxury High Rise buildings in the Atlanta area. Mr. Brock has over 20 years in the multi-family industry and has filled many roles within the spectrum in property management throughout the Southeast. He has extensive knowledge of the various sub-markets and has also been involved in training, implementation of marketing strategies, due diligence and re-positioning struggling communities. Mr. Brock started his career in the multi-family industry at RAM’s original parent company, Post Properties. He started as a leasing specialist and advanced to a manager/floating manager. He continued his career with RREEF/Deutsche Bank for several years before joining the RAM team. He has overseen a variety of properties ranging from New Construction A+ lease up, property-based Section 8 housing and Student housing. Mr. Brock earned his CAM and CAPS designations with the National Apartment Association.
As Area Vice President for RAM Partners, Alicia Bush brings extensive knowledge and experience to RAM with over 15 years in the multi-family industry. She has filled many roles within the spectrum in properties throughout the United States. Ms. Bush currently manages multiple properties throughout Atlanta Metro and surrounding cities. She has also been involved in training, implementation of marketing strategies, and property improvement and efficiency. She has overseen the development of new construction and rehab in the Southeast.
Trish Carney recently rejoined Ram Partners as an Area Vice President and oversees properties in the Tampa, Bradenton and Sarasota markets. She brings over 25 years of multi-family housing experience with diversified assets including garden-style, mid-rise and high-rise communities, new-construction lease-ups, rehabs and repositioning distressed properties. An innovator and motivator, she has a track record for building successful on-site teams to meet Client objectives. Other areas of expertise include acquisitions and dispositions, feasibility studies, due diligence projects, development of new “Go Green” initiatives and ancillary income programs. Prior to joining Ram Partners, Ms. Carney was a Regional Manager for a national firm in the Tampa Bay area overseeing a 2,800 unit portfolio. Her career began as a Leasing Agent and she quickly moved up the ranks to Property Manager, Multi-Site Manager, Marketing Director, District Manager and Regional Manager. Ms. Carney has won numerous awards throughout her tenure in the industry including Profitability Pillar of Excellence, Lease-Up Property of the Year, Employee of the Year, Excellence in Service, Manager of the Year and President’s Club Award.
As Area Vice President for RAM Partners, Michelle Duncan oversees properties in the Tampa and Sarasota/Bradenton Florida markets. Her responsibilities include hiring, training, and leading onsite management teams, financial market analysis of assets, and supervision of day to day operations in order to improve performance and increase the value of the properties in her portfolio. Immediately prior to joining RAM Partners, Ms. Duncan oversaw a portfolio for a Tampa based property management company.. Additional experience includes serving as a Regional Manager for 3,600 units in Alabama including luxury communities and distressed properties. She started her management career with RAM Partners, working as a property manager in Alabama overseeing a large rehab project for MetLife and winning Property of the Year for this project. Ms.Duncan is an active member of the Tri-City Apartment Association and currently serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors. She is a recent graduate of the Florida Apartment Association Leadership Lyceum program, holds a Certified Apartment Manager certification from the National Apartment Association, and is currently pursuing her Community Association Management license from the State of Florida. In addition, she was a charter member of the Greater Birmingham Apartment Association, where she served as Education Chair/Director for many years and won several awards for her leadership and service to that organization.
As Area Vice President for RAM Partners, Janice Garber oversees and directs operations for a portfolio of properties located in Georgia and Alabama. RAM Partners gained Ms. Garber’s talent when Greystone Properties transferred management of their 15 property portfolio to RAM. She began her career in property management in 2009 at Greystone Properties as a part time Executive Assistant/Leasing Consultant. She retired from a career in special education to pursue property management full time at Greystone Properties in 2010 and was promoted to Property Manager in 2011. In 2012, she was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, responsible for oversight of all aspects of operations for all Greystone properties in Georgia and Alabama consisting of 15 properties and 2,800 apartments. Ms. Garber continues to guide this portfolio in her current position at RAM Partners. Ms. Garber is a member of the Women’s Leadership Council of the United Way, a member of the Columbus Apartment Association (GA), and a member of SHRM –local chapter in Columbus, GA. She attended Providence College in Providence Rhode Island, majoring in English.
As Area Vice President, Jessie Haile manages a portfolio of properties located in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. She has been active in the multi-family industry since 1978 and believes that team building is a key component to an asset's success. Ms. Hailes' responsibilities include financial reporting, budget preparation and oversight of promotional activities as well as providing leadership and mentoring to the team members in her portfolio. Prior to joining RAM Partners, she served as a Senior Property Manager for an Atlanta-based asset acquisitions company where her portfolio consisted of over 1,200 units. Ms. Haile started her career in multi-family property management as a Regional Bookkeeper and has also served as an Assistant Property Manager and Property Manager. Her experience includes management of Class "A" to Class "C" assets and rehabilitation of distressed properties. Ms. Haile is a 1977 graduate of the Utica School of Commerce with an Associate decree in Accounting and holds a Certified Property Manager (CAM) certification from the National Apartment Association.
As an Area Vice President for Ram Partners, Ms. Jackson manages a portfolio that includes Columbia, SC, Charlotte, NC, and Winston-Salem, NC. With over a decade in the apartment management industry, Stephanie has a talent for building strong teams that produce exceptional results. Her proven track record reveals an organized method to increase cash flow by implementing an on-going strategic business plan. Prior to joining RAM, Ms. Powers managed a portfolio of over 1600 units for US Residential in North and South Carolina markets. Properties ranged from fee managed to owner managed assets. The portfolio was diverse, including repositioned value-add to stable, mature assets. She has earned her Certified Property Manager designation with the National Apartment Association and has gained her Property Manager license with the State of South Carolina. She is currently the Chair for the Education Committee with the Apartment Association of Greater Columbia, as well as a committee member for both Programs and Education and Bus Tour Committee with Greater Charlotte Apartment Association.
As Area Vice President for RAM Partners, Shari LeVine oversees a diversified portfolio, including both new construction lease-ups and stabilized assets in Florida. Her responsibilities include all aspects of property management operations. She brings to RAM two decades of multifamily property management experience specializing in transforming under performing assets, driving profitability, and building exceptional teams. Most recently, Ms. LeVine served as a Director of Operations for Cortland Partners, consisting of nearly 4000 units undergoing extensive renovation and asset repositioning. Previously, she gained valuable experience driving ROI Strategies on the software side as a Strategic Account Manager and Director of Revenue Management. Her property management experience also includes various regional management roles for General Investment and Development/Windsor Property Management Company and Post Properties, where she earned repeat recognition for excellence and top performance. Ms. LeVine earned her bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University.
As Area Vice President for RAM Partners, Sarah Loggins, oversees a portfolio of new construction leaseup, multi-family properties in the downtown & greater Nashville, TN market. She specializes in new construction, Class “A” lease-up projects, mixed-use, mid-rise and conventional properties. She believes that strong communication, both with the client and contractors, and being flexible in the ever-changing world of new construction are key components to an asset’s success. Ms. Loggins has strong leadership and team management skills with a track record building successful on-site teams to meet client objectives. Her responsibilities include oversight of team members, financial reporting, market research, & budget preparation. She began her career in property management with JPI Partners, in 2003, and then moving to MAA in 2004 before joining RAM Partners in 2008. To date, Ms. Loggins has successfully overseen a total of 10 new construction lease-up properties. Prior to stepping into the role of Area Vice President, Sarah has been a Property Manager & Development Manager for the RAM managed SWH Residential Partners, LLC communities. She has won a number of awards including Management Leadership award in 2014, Property of the Year in 2011, and Lease-Up of the Year 2010.
As Area Vice President, Jamie Magley oversees a portfolio of properties from South to Central Florida. She manages an array of conventional and affordable property assets including lease ups and stabilized properties. She began her career with RAM in 2006 in Franklin, TN prior to relocating to Central Florida. Ms. Magley's responsibilities include market research for current and prospective clients, budget preparation for lease up and stabilized properties, strong client relations, as well as leading and developing award winning successful teams. Throughout her career with RAM, she has performed many due diligence studies and take overs. Her success with RAM has led her to win lease up of the year in 2008, several monthly awards and highest rating and review percentage among all RAM communities. She began her career in multifamily with a 3rd party management company in 2001. Ms. Magley graduated from the University of South Florida where she earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing with a focus in business management.
As Area Vice President, Debbie Maszk oversees a portfolio of properties in Colorado and Wyoming. She manages a wide array of property types including new construction lease-ups, stabilized, and rehabs, conventional and affordable. Prior to joining RAM Partners in 2014, Ms. Maszk served as a Property Manager, then Regional Manager for a national third party management company for eleven years. She has successfully worked with large REITS, third party management, and private owners. With thirty years of experience, Ms. Maszk has a diverse knowledge base, and has experience managing new construction, lease-ups, acquisitions, sales, condominium conversions, renovations and repositions. She is responsible for directing all property operations to ensure that the Company and owners’ financial and business objectives are achieved. She acts as liaison between owners and the property management staff, reviews property performance and evaluates marketing, pricing, and financial strategies. Debbie takes pride in building cohesive teams, and provides motivation and training to all property associates. Ms. Maszk is a Licensed Broker in the State of Colorado.
Alissa McClard currently oversees a portfolio of mid-rise and garden style communities in Nashville, Tennessee. Her portfolio includes stabilized assets and assets undergoing both interior and exterior renovations. Ms. McClard has firm roots in servant based leadership and enjoys helping team members realize their potential. Prior to stepping into the role of Area Vice President, she served as Property Manager at The Cumberland and at Bristol Park at Governor’s Square. During her tenure at Bristol Park, the property won RAM Partners’ Property of the Year in 2009. Alissa began her career in property management with Bristol Development Group in 2004 and made the move to RAM Partners in 2008. Ms. McClard earned her Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Strategic Management in 2012 and is a strong advocate of continued education.
As Area Vice President for RAM Partners, Alofa Porter oversees a portfolio of luxury garden-style properties located in Eastern Tennessee. Her responsibilities include budget preparation, establishment and implementation of successful marketing strategies, and hiring and oversight of on-site personnel. Ms. Porter began her career in property management as a leasing consultant for a RAM-managed property in 2002. Consistently demonstrating fiscal accountability and team-building abilities, she has been promoted several times to achieve her current position. Along the way, Ms. Porter has been recognized as Manager of the Month multiple times and managed the team that won RAM’s Lease-Up Property of the Year in 2010. As a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®), Porter is currently pursuing her CPM® designation. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Tusculum College and serves on the Board of Directors for the Apartment Association of Greater Knoxville.
As Area Vice President for RAM Partners, Gabriele Preston oversees and directs operations of seven properties in Knoxville, Tennessee. In twenty years of management achievement in multifamily housing, Ms. Preston has learned what works, and what works best. Her career trajectory from the leasing office to the top levels of corporate management has been marked by creative thinking, incisive decision-making, and well planned, cost-effective execution. Prior to joining RAM Partners in 2011, Ms. Preston lead multifamily management groups in Michigan, Arizona and Tennessee for commercial real estate companies with portfolios of up to 4,000 units and more than 75 team members. She holds a 60-hour certificate in Business from Northwestern University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Western Michigan University. She earned her Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS) designation from the National Apartment Association in 2002 and as a member of the Board of the Property Management Association of West Michigan, she served as its President (2002) and Education Chair (2000-2001). Ms. Preston co-authored a book entitled “Straight Talk on Multifamily Management” that was released in June of 2006. Her articles have appeared in Multi-Family Executive, UNITS and Multifamilypro magazines.
As Area Vice President at RAM Partners, Tawny Varlamoff brings over 16 years of experience in the multifamily industry. She has directed operations on various assets including garden style, mid-rise, and high-rise communities. Ms. Varlamoff has extensive knowledge and experience in leading new development teams as well as overseeing stabilized and renovation projects. Her passion is for development and she currently oversees new construction communities, primarily in the Atlanta market. She practices a hands on approach in supporting her on-site teams and delivers a high level of personal attention to her clients. Prior to joining RAM Partners, she began her multifamily career in 2001 as a leasing agent and has managed assets since 2004 for companies representing both public and privately owned organizations. She has facilitated due diligence efforts and property takeovers in addition to overseeing multiple affluent mixed-use developments. She maintains her CAM designation through the National Apartment Association since 2008 and is an active member of the Atlanta Apartment Association.
In 2016, Wendy Wagner joined RAM Partners, LLC as an Area Vice President overseeing four of the luxury Greystone Apartments in Columbus, GA and one in Albany, GA. Ms. Wagner began her career in property management in 2005 with Greystone Properties, LLC and joined the RAM Partners team when the Greystone Portfolio was transferred to RAM. Her focus has always been to do what is right for the customer and the client. With 12 years of customer service and management experience, she has learned to focus on the details and keeps a passion for reaching her client’s goals. Her portfolio of 1,003 units continues to be awarded with 4 & 5 star online reviews and maintains an overall occupancy of 95% or higher. She is also experienced in HUD financed properties and reimbursement requests. Ms. Wagner is a graduate of Columbus State University, where she majored in Marketing and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She is a member of the Columbus Apartment Association and frequently attends the National Apartment Association’s yearly conventions where she loves to bring back advice to her teams from some of the best professionals in the industry. She looks forward to reaching new heights with RAM Partners and is ready to share her knowledge and hands-on support with her team.
As Area Vice President for Ram Partners, Amy Tucker oversees and directs communities in Alabama and Tennessee. With over 20 years of management experience in multifamily, Ms. Tucker has developed a series of practices that delivers high-quality results by aligning corporate apartment management practices with underlying business goals. She produces substantial improvement in the management of multiple-site operations in various geographic areas for recognized real estate companies. With an extensive background in effective leveraging of staff and corporate resources, her management services have been instrumental in providing multiple start-up companies with a spectrum of high caliber operations, systems, and programs. Ms. Tucker has a proven record in developing policies and procedures and executing strategic plans to maximize financial performance. Ms. Tucker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource from Brenau University and Master of Science degree in Business Management from FIT. She also holds the certifications of Accredited Residential Manager, Human Resource Management, & Registered Apartment Management.
As Area Vice President for RAM Partners, Melanie Turner currently oversees a Metro Atlanta portfolio of over 1,100 units. She began her career with RAM Partners in 2000 as a Leasing Consultant and has proven herself through hard work, perseverance, and attention to detail to achieve her current position as an Area Vice President. Over the years, Ms. Turner has maintained successful properties by building strong teams. An Atlanta native, Ms. Turner is an active member of the Atlanta Apartment Association. She has earned recognition throughout her tenure with RAM Partners including the Assistant Manager of the Year award and the Manager of the Year award twice. She has experience managing stabilized assets, new construction lease-ups and rehab projects. She is currently pursuing her CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) designation with the National Apartment Association.
As an Area Vice President for RAM Partners, Amanda Walker oversees and directs operations of a portfolio of communities in the Columbus Georgia area. Ms. Walker joined RAM with 15 years’ experience in property management, beginning her career in 2001 on lease-up projects in Florida. She later joined military housing management and was responsible for multiple management transitions and stabilization of struggling portfolios. She has a passion for training and team development, resulting in her projects reaching record financial successes. She has earned her Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management. She has also been recognized as Property Manager of the Year by the National Association of Home Builders and has been featured in UNITS Magazine, the official publication of the National Apartment Association.
As Area Vice President, Ms. Whitfield-Krieber oversees properties in Texas and Louisiana. Her responsibilities include hiring and training of staff, preparation of lease-up and stabilized budgets, compilation and implementation of Marketing and Business Plans, due-diligence lease audits and unit inspections, market research for current and prospective clients, business development and oversight of new construction lease-up and rehab properties. Prior to joining RAM Partners in 2007, Ms. Whitfield-Krieber served as Vice President, Business Development for a regional management company in Texas. In that role, she worked with individual property owners, limited partnerships and institutional owners seeking assistance with their existing portfolios and potential acquisitions. Before that, she served in various roles for a national property management firm – first as district manager, and later as an Assistant VP, Business Development. A Texas real estate license holder for more than 20 years, Ms. Whitfield-Krieber is a past member of the Metric Boulevard POA board, as well as past ARM® Coordinator for the CPM® Austin Chapter 61. She attended Texas Tech University.
As Director of Maintenance and Construction for RAM Partners, Mike Hegman oversees all rehab, maintenance and construction activities for the company’s entire portfolio of properties. Mr. Hegman joined the RAM team in 2002 as Assistant Director of Maintenance. He has a vast knowledge of the apartment industry, resulting from more than 20 years of industry experience. In addition, he has served in other service industries, including hotel/hospitality and the health service industry. Mr. Hegman is a graduate of the Control Data Technical Institute with a degree in Information Technology.
