Since joining RAM Partners, LLC, in 1995, Bill Leseman has focused attention on refining the company’s mission and providing leadership to guarantee delivery on that promise. Mr. Leseman draws from more than 25 years of property management experience in guiding the management teams for all RAM-managed properties. He maintains active participation in the processes to develop and implement annual marketing, management and budget plans; and he provides guidance involving asset management functions including construction, tax appeals, property insurance and property sales.
Brenda Lindner brings two decades of property management experience to her role as Senior Vice President of Operations for RAM Partners. She oversees all aspects of property management and provides direct leadership for RAM’s Area Vice Presidents. Lindner provides comprehensive support and consulting to her clients and employees alike. Lindner’s strengths include new construction, lease-ups, and repositioning troubled assets. She has experience with all asset types including high-rise, mid-rise, garden and mixed use developments. Lindner began her tenure with RAM Partners in 1995 as an Executive Property Manager, rising to Area Vice President and VP of Operations before achieving her current role. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business at Illinois State University and holds the CPM® (Certified Property Manager) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management.
Martha Logan has been active in the multi-family industry since 1974. Logan is known in the apartment industry as an innovator and as a successful implementer of new ideas. She served as Executive Vice President of Post Properties for 10 years. Prior to Post, Martha was responsible for the management of Residential Asset Management (RAM Partners). Her organization, leadership, successful goal achievement, and bottom line results for owners of real estate have always been a hallmark of her efforts. Logan focuses on improving property operations and increasing cash flow of apartment communities resulting in added value for owner’s real estate. Logan is a graduate of Young Harris College, where she majored in Fine Arts. She holds the CPM® designation (Certified Property Manager) from the Institute of Real Estate Management and is a licensed real estate agent. Logan serves on the board of the Atlanta Apartment Association and the Georgia Apartment Association.
As Vice President for RAM Partners, Susan E. Brown manages a portfolio of Atlanta-based communities, with oversight of fiscal accountability, marketing & personnel and physical asset management. Brown has managed a diverse range of communities from lease-up to rehab to Tax Credit/Section 8 properties. Prior to joining RAM Partners in 2005, Brown was a Regional Property Manager for a national property management firm, managing communities in Georgia, North Carolina, Alabama and Texas. She also served as National Corporate Trainer with this organization. Before that, Brown worked with a large REIT in Florida, receiving multiple promotions rising from Leasing Consultant to Regional Property Manager. Brown has been recognized for her performance at RAM Partners, earning the company’s Area Vice President of the Year award in 2008. She also was awarded Rookie of the Year in 1990 by a large real estate agency, Florida Apartment Associate of the Year in 1999, and the 2008 Atlanta Apartment Association Corporate Employee of the Year. Brown holds CAM and DCA certifications, and holds CPO and Florida real estate licenses. She attended State University of New York, majoring in Elementary Education and has a NY State Teaching Certificate. Brown earned a Bank Manager Certification from the Institute of Banking & Finance in New York.
As an Vice President for RAM Partners, Corey Williams manages a portfolio of properties in South Carolina, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, and Georgia. Williams joined RAM Partners in 2005 as a Property Manager and was quickly promoted to Special Projects Coordinator, where he oversaw due diligence services, financial modeling for rehab and development projects and ancillary services. His strong performance in this role allowed him advancement to Area Vice President then to Group Vice President to his current position. Williams currently is pursuing his Certified Property Management (CPM®) designation. He attended the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Accounting.
Carol Cicero manages a portfolio of properties in Tennessee and Georgia. She has been active in the multi-family industry since 1983. Cicero has managed a diverse range of assets from new construction lease-up, stabilized garden deals, midrise and repositioned properties. Carol works closely with clients to achieve financial stability and success. Cicero joined RAM Partners in 2000 as a Property Manager where her strong performance in this role led to her advancement to Area Vice President in 2004. Serving as Area Vice President she managed numerous properties in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Florida with her properties earning awards for Property of the Year and Lease Up of the Year. Prior to joining RAM, Cicero served as a Regional Manager for privately owned realty companies in Alabama and Georgia. She has extensive knowledge in acquisitions, financial analysis, market research; promotional marketing of all types of communities from A to C, asset management and provides leadership and mentoring to all team members. Carol earned her ARM® designation in 1986. Cicero has been recognized with numerous awards during her tenure with RAM. In 2007 she was recognized for her performance as Area Vice President of the Year Award. She was also recognized by the Atlanta Apartment Association as Go Getter of the Year and the Multi-Site Manager of the Year. Cicero has worked on numerous committees with the Atlanta Apartment Association. She served on the board of directors for the Atlanta Apartment Association for two years and continues to be actively involved in the Food Drive and Membership Committees.
As Area Vice President for RAM Partners, Kelly Marchbanks oversees a diversified portfolio, which includes new construction lease-ups located in Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina. In her role as Area Vice President, Marchbanks supervises interior and exterior renovations and develops and implements property-specific marketing strategies. Prior to joining RAM Partners in 2002, Marchbanks worked with an Atlanta-based developer, first as a Property Manager and later progressing to Area Manager and Corporate Construction Development Liaison. She was recognized by the Atlanta Apartment Association as Multi- Site Person of the Year in 2004. Marchbanks is an active member of the Atlanta Apartment Association. She serves on the Can Can Ball Committee benefiting the Atlanta Community Food Bank and is Co-chair of an annual golf tournament benefiting brain cancer patients. Marchbanks attended both the University of Georgia and Georgia State University, majoring in Early Childhood Education. She is currently pursuing her CPM® designation.
As Director of Maintenance and Construction for RAM Partners, Mike Hegman oversees all rehab, maintenance and construction activities for the company’s entire portfolio of properties. Hegman joined the RAM team in 2002 as Assistant Director of Maintenance. Hegman has a vast knowledge of the apartment industry, resulting from more than 20 years of industry experience. In addition, he has served in other service industries, including hotel/hospitality and the health service industry. Hegman is a graduate of the Control Data Technical Institute with a degree in Information Technology.
As Senior Area Vice President for RAM Partners, Chris Mullen manages a portfolio of multifamily properties in Georgia and additional Southeastern states. Her experience includes hands-on, goal-oriented team leadership, and she specializes in new construction, Class A lease-up projects, stabilized properties and tax credit/bond financed communities. Mullen joined RAM Partners in 1995 as a Property Manager. She spent several years in RAM’s training department before assuming her current position of Area Vice President. She has been active in the multi-family real estate industry since 1985, having served in a variety of roles for a nationally recognized property management firm. Mullen is an active member of the Atlanta Apartment association, serving on a number of committees for the organization. She also is active in RAM Partner’s community outreach efforts, serving as coordinator for the RAM Atlanta food drive.
As Senior Area Vice President for RAM Partners, Rebecca Welch manages a portfolio containing more than 2,400 units, located in Atlanta and Nashville, Tenn. Welch joined RAM Partners in 2001 as a Property Manager, but moved up quickly after a very successful lease-up. Prior to joining RAM Partners, Welch spent eight years with Post Properties, Inc. a national property management firm. She started in the company’s leasing department, and eventually took on the role of multi-site manager – a position which required her to move to Nashville to assist with preparation of properties to be put on the market. Before joining Post, Welch spent five years traveling extensively for a sales and marketing company, trouble-shooting challenging markets on a variety of assets ranging in class from “A” to “C”. Welch is an active member of both the Atlanta Apartment Association and the Greater Nashville Apartment Association. Her work with RAM Partners earned her the title of Area Vice President of the Year in 2003. Welch is a graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta, and she has earned her associate’s degree in Management and Marketing from Kennesaw State University.
Since joining RAM Partners in 1998, Senior Area Vice President Susan Haydel has built a portfolio that includes properties in Georgia. She has managed new construction lease-ups and stabilized properties alike, overseeing construction and amenities design projects and managing renovations as well. Haydel has an accomplished track record for achieving the goals and objectives for a number of clients by maximizing the value of their properties. Prior to joining RAM Partners, Haydel served as a multi-site manager for a national management company, managing properties in Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky and Tennessee. She started her career in 1987 as a leasing agent. Haydel is a member of the Atlanta Apartment Association, where she earned Top Honors for New Membership Recruitment. Her work for RAM Partners also has received accolades, including several Property of the Year and Property Manager of the Year awards. Haydel earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee.
As Area Vice President for RAM Partners, Alicia Bush brings extensive knowledge and experience to RAM with over 15 years in the multi-family industry. She has filled many rolls within the spectrum in properties throughout the United States. Bush currently manages multiple properties throughout Atlanta Metro and surrounding cities. She has also been involved in training, implementation of marketing strategies, and property improvement and efficiency. She has overseen the development of new construction and rehab in the Southeast.
Alissa Bolema currently oversees a portfolio of mid-rise and garden style communities in Nashville, Tennessee. Her portfolio includes stabilized assets and assets undergoing both interior and exterior renovations. Alissa has firm roots in servant based leadership and enjoys helping team members realize their potential. Prior to stepping into the role of Area Vice President, Alissa served as Property Manager at The Cumberland and at Bristol Park at Governor’s Square for several years. During her tenure at Bristol Park, the property won RAM Partners’ Property of the Year in 2009. Alissa began her career in property management with Bristol Development Group in 2004 and made the move to RAM Partners in 2008. Ms. Bolema earned her Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Strategic Management in 2012 and is a strong advocate of continued education.
As Area Vice President for Ram Partners, Amy Tucker oversees and directs communities in Alabama and Tennessee. With over 20 years of management experience in multifamily Amy has developed a series of practices that best delivers high-quality results by aligning corporate apartment management practices with underlying business goals, producing substantial improvement in the management of multiple-site operations in various geographic areas for recognized real estate companies. With an extensive background in effective leveraging of staff and corporate resources, Amy’s management services have been instrumental in providing multiple start-up companies with a spectrum of high caliber operations, systems, and programs. Amy has a proven record in collaborating with senior management to develop a range of policies and procedures; executed targeted strategic plans to maximize financial performance of each property by ensuring all aspects of each property including staffing, operations, budget management, and ongoing capital projects aligned with goals. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource from Brenau University and Master of Science degree in Business Management from FIT. She also holds the certifications of Accredited Residential Manager, Human Resource Management, & Registered Apartment Management.
As an Area Vice President, Chantèe Gibson oversees a portfolio of Georgia-based properties. Prior to joining RAM Partners, Chantèe was a Regional Performance Director for a Phoenix, AZ based property management company where she successfully developed and trained a portfolio of 3,000+ units in the Southeast covering PA, VA, NJ, SC, GA and FL markets. She brings over 20 years of multi-family housing experience with diversified assets including garden-style, mid-rise and high-rise communities, new-construction lease-ups, rehabs, student-housing and repositioning distressed properties. Over the years, Chantèe has maintained successful properties by building strong teams. While in the SC market, she was recognized for her strong ability to stabilize lease –up assets and was quickly promoted to a Regional Leasing Manager and then Sr. Property Manager. She then ventured into student housing as a National Operations Specialist for the largest student housing company in US. Chantèe is an active member of the Atlanta Apartment Association where she serves on the membership committee. She has also received the Member of the Year award from the Greater Columbia Apartment Association located in Columbia, SC. Chantèe is currently in the process of pursuing her CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) designation.
As an Area Vice President for RAM, Debbie Maszk oversees a portfolio of properties in Colorado and Wyoming. She manages a wide array of property types including new construction lease-ups, stabilized, and rehabs, conventional and affordable. Prior to joining RAM Partners in 2014, Debbie served as a Property Manager, then Regional Manager for a national third party management company for eleven years. Debbie has successfully worked with large REITS, third party management, and private owners. With thirty years of experience, Debbie has a diverse knowledge base, and has experience managing new construction, lease-ups, acquisitions, sales, condominium conversions, renovations and repositions. Debbie is responsible for directing all property operations to ensure that the Company and owners’ financial and business objectives are being achieved. She acts as liaison between owners and the property management staff, reviews property performance and evaluates marketing, pricing, and financial strategies. Debbie takes pride in building cohesive teams, and provides motivation and training to all property associates. Debbie is a Licensed Broker in the State of Colorado.
As an Area Vice President for RAM Partners, Gabriele Preston oversees and directs operations of seven properties in Knoxville, Tennessee. In twenty years of management achievement in multifamily housing, Preston has learned what works, and what works best. Her career trajectory from the leasing office to the top levels of corporate management has been marked by creative thinking, incisive decision-making, and well planned, cost-effective execution. Prior to joining RAM Partners in 2011, Preston lead multifamily management groups in Michigan, Arizona and Tennessee for commercial real estate companies with portfolios of up to 4,000 units and more than 75 team members. Preston holds a 60-hour certificate in Business from Northwestern University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Western Michigan University. She earned her Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS) designation from the National Apartment Association in 2002 and as a member of the Board of the Property Management Association of West Michigan, she served as its President (2002) and Education Chair (2000-2001). Preston co-authored a book entitled “Straight Talk on Multifamily Management” that was released in June of 2006. Her articles have appeared in Multi-Family Executive, UNITS and Multifamilypro magazines.
As Area Vice President for RAM Partners, Holly Whitfield-Krieber oversees properties in Texas and Louisiana. Whitfield-Krieber’s responsibilities include hiring and training of staff, preparation of lease-up and stabilized budgets, compilation and implementation of Marketing and Business Plans, due-diligence lease audits and unit inspections, market research for current and prospective clients, business development and oversight of new construction lease-up and rehab properties. Prior to joining RAM Partners in 2007, Whitfield-Krieber served as Vice President, Business Development for a regional management company in Texas. In that role, she worked with individual property owners, limited partnerships and institutional owners seeking assistance with their existing portfolios and potential acquisitions. Before that, she served in various roles for a national property management firm – first as district manager, and later as an Assistant VP, Business Development. A Texas real estate license holder for more than 20 years, Whitfield-Krieber is a past member of the Metric Boulevard POA board, as well as past ARM® Coordinator for the CPM® Austin Chapter 61. Whitfield-Krieber attended Texas Tech University.
As Area Vice President for RAM, Jamie Magley oversees a portfolio of properties from South to Central Florida. She manages an array of conventional and affordable property assets including lease ups and stabilized properties. She began her career with RAM in 2006 in Franklin, TN where she then relocated to Central Florida to continue her career with RAM. Jamie’s responsibilities include market research for current and prospective clients, budget preparation for lease up and stabilized properties, strong client relations, as well as leading and developing award winning successful teams. Throughout her career with RAM she has led and performed many due diligences and take overs for several different clients consisting of affordable and conventional from stabilized to new construction lease ups. Jamie’s success with RAM has led her to win lease up of the year in 2008, several monthly awards and highest rating and review percentage amongst other RAM communities.. Prior to advancing her career with RAM she began her career in multifamily with another 3rd party management company in 2001, after graduating from the University of South Florida where she earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing with a focus in business management.
As Area Vice President, Jessie Haile manages a portfolio of properties located in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. She has been active in the multi-family industry since 1978 and believes that team building is a key component to an asset's success. Hailes' responsibilities include financial reporting, budget preparatin and oversight of promotional activities as well as providing leadership and mentoring to the team members in her portfolio. Prior to joining RAM Partners, Haile served as a Senior Property Manager for an Atlanta-based asset acquisitions company where her portfolio consisted of over 1,200 units. Haile started her career in multi-family property management as a Regional Bookkeeper and has also served as an Assistant Property Manager and Property Manager. Her experience includes management of Class "A" to Class "C" assets and rehabilitation of distressed properties. Haile is a 1977 graduate of the Utica School of Commerce with an Associate decree in Accounting and holds a Certified Property Manager (CAM) certification from the National Apartment Association.
As Area Vice President, Kena Sims oversees multifamily properties in the North and South Carolina areas. She brings over 16 years of experience in property management and has worked for the same client for over 12 of those 16 years. Sims begun her career as a leasing agent, but moved up quickly to Property Manager. Her responsibilities include hiring, leading onsite management teams, supervision of day to day operations, financial reporting and preparing and stabilizing budgets. She has a reputation for achieving goals and objections for her client by maximizing the value of his properties. Sims believes that team building is a key component to an asset's success while having fun as you do it. Sims has received several awards over the past 10 years including Property Manager of the Month, Property Manager of the year, Leadership of the year, Outstanding Achievement of the year, TAA best NOI turn around and most recent, RAM Spirit Award. Sims earned her Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) from National Apartment Association in 2014 and is active with the Piedmont Traid Apartment Association. Sims wants to pursue her Real Estate License before the end of 2015.
As Area Vice President for RAM Partners, Melanie Turner currently oversees a Metro Atlanta portfolio of over 1,100 units. She began her career with RAM Partners in 2000 as a Leasing Consultant and has proven herself through hard work, perseverance, and attention to detail to achieve her current position as an Area Vice President. Over the years, Melanie has maintained successful properties by building strong teams. An Atlanta native, Melanie is an active member of the Atlanta Apartment Association. Melanie has earned recognition throughout her tenure with RAM Partners including the Assistant Manager of the Year award and the Manager of the Year award twice. She has experience managing stabilized assets, new construction lease-ups and rehab projects. Melanie is currently pursuing her CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) designation with the National Apartment Association.
As Area Vice President for RAM Partners, Michelle Downey oversees properties in the Tampa and Sarasota/Bradenton Florida markets. Her responsibilities include hiring, training, and leading onsite managment teams, financial market analysis of assets, and supervision of day to day operations in order to improve performance and increase the value of the properties in her portfolio. Immediately prior to joining RAM Partners, Downey oversaw a portfolio in the area for a Tampa based property management company for two years. Other experience includes serving as a Regional Manager, managing 3,600 units in Alabama including luxury communities and distressed properties. Downey started her management career with RAM Partners, working as a property manager for RAM in Alabama from 2001 to 2005, overseeing a large rehab project for MetLife and winning Property of the Year for this project. Downey is an active member of the Tri-City Apartment Associatin and currently serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors. She is a recent gradutate of the Florida Apartment Associatin Leadership Lyceum program, holds a Certified Apartment Manager certification from the National Apartment Association since 2004, and is currently pursuing her Community Association Management license from the State of Florida. In addition, Downey was a charter member of the Greater Birmingham Apartment Association, where she served as Education Chair/Director for many years and won several awards for her leadership and service to that organization.
As Area Vice President for RAM Partners, Shari LeVine oversees a diversified portfolio, which includes both new construction lease-ups and stabilized assets in Florida. Her responsibilities include all aspects of property management operations for her properties. She brings to RAM two decades of multifamily property management experience specializing in transforming underperforming assets, driving profitability, and building exceptional teams. Most recently, LeVine served as a Director of Operations for Cortland Partners, consisting of nearly 4000 units undergoing extensive renovation and asset repositioning. Previously, she gained valuable experience driving ROI Strategies on the software side as a Strategic Account Manager and Director of Revenue Management. LeVine’s property management experience also includes various regional management roles for General Investment and Development/Windsor Property Management Company and Post Properties, where she earned repeat recognition for excellence and top performance. LeVine earned her bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University.
Trish Carney recently rejoined Ram Partners as an Area Vice President and oversees properties in the Tampa, Bradenton and Sarasota markets. She brings over 25 years of multi-family housing experience with diversified assets including garden-style, mid-rise and high-rise communities, new-construction lease-ups, rehabs and repositioning distressed properties. An innovator and motivator, she has a track record for building successful on-site teams to meet Client objectives. Other areas of expertise include acquisitions and dispositions, feasibility studies, due diligence projects, development of new “Go Green” initiatives and ancillary income programs. Prior to joining Ram Partners, Trish was a Regional Manager for a national firm for five years in the Tampa Bay area overseeing a 2,800 unit portfolio. Her career began as a Leasing Agent and she quickly moved up the ranks to Property Manager, Multi-Site Manager, Marketing Director, District Manager and Regional Manager. Ms. Carney has won numerous awards throughout her tenure in the industry including Profitability Pillar of Excellence, Lease-Up Property of the Year, Employee of the Year, Excellence in Service, Manager of the Year and President’s Club Award.
As Area Vice President for RAM Partners, Sarah Loggins, oversees a portfolio of new construction leaseup, multi-family properties in the downtown & greater Nashville, TN market. She specializes in new construction, Class “A” lease-up projects, mixed-use, mid-rise and conventional properties. She believes that strong communication, both with the client and contractors, and being flexible in the ever-changing day-to-day world of new construction are key components to an asset’s success. Sarah has strong leadership and team management skills with a track record building successful on-site teams to meet client objectives. Her responsibilities include oversight of team members in her portfolio, financial reporting of property performance to clients, market research, & budget preparation. Sarah began her career in property management with JPI Partners, LLC in 2003, MAA in 2004, and then made the move to RAM Partners, LLC in 2008. To date, Sarah has successfully overseen a total of 10 new construction lease-up properties. Prior to stepping into the role of Area Vice President, Sarah has been a Property Manager & Development Manager for the RAM managed SWH Residential Partners, LLC communities. During her tenure with RAM, she successfully completed 5 lease-ups on an average of 11 months. Sarah has won a number of awards including Management Leadership award in 2014, Property of the Year in 2011, and Lease-Up of the Year 2010.
